Hello! My name is Halie and I’m a mom of 4 boys and wife to a brilliant teacher husband in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Oregon to be exact. After my fourth son, Bjorn, was born, I left my corporate job of 10+ years to be a stay at home mom. My, what a transition that was! Since that time, I’ve been searching for what my new “career” would be. 

Growing up, I was aways a creative and artistic child. I loved growing a little garden, I loved animals, and I love cute things and I love expressing myself with many different artforms. I always new I wanted a job in the art field, but I never knew what it could be and suffered from a lot of self doubt and self editing. So I didn’t put in the effort to pursue a career in the arts. 

Fast-forwarding to after my fourth son was born, I now had the time to discover what my next “thing” would be. We’d made lots of adjustments as a family to allow me to stay at home, so I had the freedom to not really make any money and just find something that made me happy and something I could do with little guys at home. 

I had started an Etsy shop trying to sell stickers I designed, but I didn’t really have the money to build enough inventory to grow. Then I discovered the community of selling art digitally to crafters and artists. This was perfect for me! I could sell my art, but not have to ship anything or build up a physical inventory! So I started by selling line art drawing of flowers and flower designs. 

Today, I still sell line drawings of flowers, but I have a wider variety of subject matter,  including cute animals, characters, creatures, and cute food! I sell my art on Etsy, Creative Market, Creative Fabrica, So Fonsty, and I am a contributing artist to Cricut Design Space. I love that my job is drawing pictures of piggies, and bunnies, and daisy flowers, and more! It makes me happy and I can do it at my own “mom-of-boys” pace (which changes day to day!)
